Synthetic Drugs

Synthetic drugs are made in labs and sold to retailers under deceiving names. The most common are synthetic forms of marijuana such as

• K2 or Spice
• Bath Salts (a synthetic stimulant)

A common misconception for some using synthetic marijuana is to pass drug screens. Due to the increase in use of these drugs鈥攁nd a DEA ban of the chemicals used in manufacturing the products鈥攎ost hospital labs can now test for synthetic drugs.
