  1. Go to https:\/\/remote.ramapo.edu<\/a> and login with your Ramapo username (without @ramapo.edu) and password.\"\"<\/li>\n
  2. Click the Download link pertaining to your System type of Windows you have installed. To determine the system type you have installed, please\u00a0 refer to Appendix A<\/a> at the end of this document.\"\"<\/li>\n
  3. When you click the Download link, you\u2019ll be prompted to Run <\/i>or Save <\/i>the file. Click Run.\"\"<\/li>\n
  4. The installation process will now start. Click Next throughout this process.\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\n

    You may get a warning message as shown below, you can click Yes.<\/p>\n

    \"\"Finally, click Close.<\/p>\n

  5. The GlobalProtect VPN Client, should now open. In the portal field, type remote.ramapo.edu then clickConnect.<\/strong>\"\"<\/li>\n
  6. Input your Ramapo username (without @ramapo.edu) and password then click Sign In.\"\"<\/li>\n
  7. You should now be connected and presented with a successful message as shown below. You can close out of this.\"\"<\/li>\n
  8. You should also see Connected as your status in the GlobalProtect VPN Client.\"\"<\/li>\n
  9. Congratulations you have successfully connected to the VPN!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Appendix A -Determine your System Type<\/h4>\n
      \n
    1. From the Start menu, type This PC then right click on the icon and select Properties\"\"<\/li>\n
    2. You should see your System type, by viewing the System type:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Go to https:\/\/remote.ramapo.edu<\/a> and login with your Ramapo username (without @ramapo.edu) and password.\"\"<\/li>\n
      2. Click the\u00a0Download\u00a0link for the Mac.\"\"<\/li>\n
      3. When you click the\u00a0Download\u00a0link, it\u2019ll be saved to your computer and you can access it by going to your dock. Click the\u00a0GlobalProtect 5.pkg\u00a0file to run it.\"\"<\/li>\n
      4. The installation process will now start. Click\u00a0Continue\u00a0throughout this process.\"\"\"\"Finally, click\u00a0Install.\"\"<\/li>\n
      5. Input your computer username and password for the installer to continue then click\u00a0Install Software.\"\"<\/li>\n
      6. Now, click\u00a0Close.\"\"<\/li>\n
      7. The GlobalProtect VPN client will open and then you will be presented with the System Extension Blocked warning message, click Open Security Preferences.\"\"<\/li>\n
      8. Click\u00a0Allow, then close the window.\"\"<\/li>\n
      9. Reboot your computer.<\/li>\n
      10. Now open the\u00a0GlobalProtect VPN Client, and input\u00a0remote.ramapo.edu\u00a0in the portal field then click\u00a0Connect.\"\"<\/li>\n
      11. Input your Ramapo username (without @ramapo.edu) and password then click\u00a0Connect.\"\"<\/li>\n
      12. You should now be connected and presented with a successful message as shown below. You can close out of this.\"\"<\/li>\n
