Shara<\/strong>, President and CEO, Lakeland Bancorp and Lakeland Bank<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/199\/2019\/01\/shara.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1740 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/199\/2019\/01\/shara-285x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"245\" height=\"258\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/199\/2019\/01\/shara-285x300.png 285w, https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/199\/2019\/01\/shara.png 390w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 245px) 100vw, 245px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Shara is president and CEO of Lakeland Bancorp, Inc. and Lakeland Bank.\u00a0 Prior to joining Lakeland, Mr. Shara served as president and chief lending officer of TD Banknorth\u2019s (now TD Bank) Mid-Atlantic division.\u00a0 Prior to TD Banknorth acquiring Hudson United Bank, Mr. Shara was executive vice president and senior loan officer of HUBCO.\u00a0\u00a0 He serves on the board of trustees of the Boys and Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic, the Chilton Medical Center Foundation as well as the board of directors of the Commerce and Industry Association of N.J.\u00a0\u00a0 Mr. Shara is also a board member of the New Jersey Bankers Association.\u00a0 He was honored as a Distinguished Citizen in 2012.\u00a0 He earned a B.S. and M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
