Students who are interested can fill out the form on <a href=\"https:\/\/cglink.me\/2fF\/s60077\">Archway<\/a>. After you join, please select forms and sign up for the week you would like to receive fresh produce.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000\"><strong>Ramapo College Food Pantry<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The pantry is open in ASB 130 and is open to currently enrolled Students, Staff, Faculty, and Administrators<\/p>\n<p>Here are the Ramapo College Food Pantry Hours for Summer 2026,<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\">Food Pantry Hours<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\">Monday 1 p.m. &#8211; 2 p.m.<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\">Thursday 1 p.m. &#8211; 2 p.m.<\/h4>\n<p>Please note that the pantry will be closed on Monday, May 25, for Memorial Day. If you need access, please contact public safety.<\/p>\n<p>If you need access outside of these times or have any questions, please email <a href=\"mailto:wecare@ramapo.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wecare@ramapo.edu<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>The Satellite Pantry Program<\/h4>\n<p>The We Care Program has placed smaller pantries across campus. These pantries have a smaller inventory, but they are stocked with ready-to-eat items and have extended hours to increase availability.<\/p>\n<p>There are nine satellite pantries stationed across campus in the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Peter P. If you need more items or want a larger selection, please stop by the food pantry in ASB 130.<\/p>\n<p>*This Program is Provided by Ramapo College in Partnership with New Jersey Office of the Secretary of Higher Education and the Hunger Free Campus Grant<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Food Insecurity Resources<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Food insecurity is defined as individuals lacking the availability of sufficient and safe foods. The ability to acquire enough food in a socially acceptable way may also be limited or uncertain. The resources listed below are organizations both for your convenience and ways to help those on campus who suffer from food insecurities.<\/p>\n<div class=\"collapsableContent\" tabindex=\"0\"><div class=\"collapsableTitle\"><span class=\"fa-stack\"><i class=\"fa fa-circle fa-stack-2x\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-down fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-up fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><\/span>NJ Snap<\/div><div class=\"c_content\">\n<p>NJ SNAP, formerly Food Stamps, is New Jersey&#8217;s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program that can help low-income families and individuals buy the groceries they need to eat healthily.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nj.gov\/humanservices\/njsnap\/home\/cbss.shtml\">Board of Social Services Locations by County?<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nj.gov\/humanservices\/njsnap\/apply\/app\/\">How to apply?<\/a><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\">SNAP Eligibility for College Students<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You may be eligible if you are enrolled at least half-time in an institution of higher education and:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Are eligible to participate in a State or federally-financed work-study program as determined by the institution of higher education; or\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the current academic year, have an Expected Family Contribution of $0 as determined by the Higher Education Act\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In addition to income eligibility factors, students also must fit at least ONE of the following requirements:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Be enrolled in an approved <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nj.gov\/education\/cte\/pubvoc.htm\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Career and Technical Education Program<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> at a New Jersey community college;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Be employed at least 20 hours per week AND paid for such work;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Be participating in a federal work-study program during the school year;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Be participating in an on-the-job training program;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Be responsible for the care of a member of your household who is a dependent under the age of six years old;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Be a single parent enrolled full-time AND responsible for a dependent under the age of 12 years old;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Be unable to work due to a physical or mental disability; or<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Be receiving Work First New Jersey (WFNJ) Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) benefits (cash assistance).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Visit their website: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nj.gov\/humanservices\/njsnap\/students\/eligibility\/\">https:\/\/www.nj.gov\/humanservices\/njsnap\/students\/eligibility\/<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Offical Site of The State of New Jersey,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> 2020).<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #2f2f2f;font-family: Sarabun, sans-serif;font-size: 17px\"><\/div><\/div><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We Care Fresh Food Initiative The We Care Program provides students with a free bag of produce filled with a mix of fresh fruits and vegetables each week!
